Privacy Policy

bstack is a set of small browser tools, made and run by one person: me, Matias Barragan. This page covers two things: the bstack account, which is one sign-in for every bstack tool, and this site, bstack.cc. What a tool keeps about your work is on that tool's own privacy page, for example bpad's. If something here is unclear, write to mati@barragan.com.py.
This site
bstack.cc sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking. The typeface comes from bstack.cc itself, so your browser asks no other company for anything. Vercel hosts the site and, like any web host, receives your IP address and the pages you open.
You don't need an account
Every bstack tool works without one. An account only adds extras, such as keeping your work on every device.
The bstack account
You sign in at auth.bstack.cc, which Kinde runs for me. You sign in with a code sent to your email, or with Google. There are no passwords. The account holds your email address, and your name and profile picture if you add them or sign in with Google. With Google, Google tells Kinde your name, email address and picture, and nothing else in your Google account is shared.
Kinde sets cookies on auth.bstack.cc that keep you signed in. Because of them, once you sign in on one bstack tool, the others can sign you in without asking again. Signing out on any tool signs you out on all of them.
When you sign in to a tool, that tool receives your account ID, email address, name and picture. Each tool stores its own data about your work and lists it on its own privacy page.
Who helps run it
Kinde keeps the accounts, in Australia. Resend sends the sign-in emails, from no-reply@bstack.cc. Google is involved only if you choose to sign in with Google. Vercel hosts bstack.cc. Each one only gets what it needs to do its part, and your data may be handled outside your country by these services.
I do not sell your data, rent it, or use it to show you ads.
How long I keep it
Your account stays until you delete it. Deleting your account in a tool's settings removes the bstack account, so you are signed out of every tool. If you can't sign in any more, write to me from the email on your account and I will erase it within 30 days.
Your choices
You can ask me for a copy of what I hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, by writing to mati@barragan.com.py. I answer within 30 days.
Keeping it safe
Everything travels over HTTPS. There are no passwords to leak: each sign-in code works once and only for a short time. No system is perfectly safe, so keep the email inbox you sign in with safe too, since it is the key to your account.
Children
bstack accounts are not meant for children under 13, and I do not knowingly keep accounts for them.
Changes
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes too. If a change matters for how your data is used, I will say so in the tools before it takes effect.
